Project management training from project experts
Training courses
Proha trains and coaches project teams and management in organisations in a non-partisan way. The aim is to ensure consistent quality projects with an emphasis on time management and practical tools for project definition, planning and implementation.
Project management training for project managers, management and staff
For project managers
- How project management differs from the rest of organisational management
- How projects are prepared, set up and planned
- How project durations and workloads are estimated
- How to manage project changes
- How to prepare for risks
- How projects are completed
The training will provide project managers with practical tools to support the engagement of project participants and weekly management, such as a project manager’s notecard.
Steering group work and project portfolio management for management

Project portfolio management
The training will select the right projects to implement. The workshop training will introduce methods to build a picture of the organisation’s project portfolio, establish a process for dealing with project proposals, outline a project prioritisation and selection model, and ensure that the organisation has sufficient resources to deliver them.

Steering group work
In training, project management is carried out in steering groups by the project owner. The aim is to ensure organisational support for the success of the project. In training sessions for project owners and those working in steering groups, participants learn key skills in project management. They will learn how to make management sufficiently visible and present. They will also understand the differences in perspective between project managers and management, what practical support the project manager needs and what the steering group can legitimately demand of the project manager.

Expert training
For experts involved in projects
The scheduling and management of project work requires effective time management at the personal level, as well as an understanding of the status of projects and the impact of one’s own work on their progress. The experts involved in the project teams contribute to planning, monitoring, change and risk management.
The training for experts involved in projects covers some of the same content as the training for project managers. The emphasis will be on effective time management, assessing workloads and the impact of tools and organisation of the working environment on motivation and productivity.
Microsoft Project / Microsoft Project Online Desktop Client Training
The training will cover the essential features of Microsoft Project and/or Project Online software, but most importantly, it will teach you how to use the tools to support your organisation’s project scheduling and resource planning, as a monitoring tool and as a tool to produce up-to-date reporting for project stakeholders.
